Welcome to Woburn Australian Whites

Woburn was the home of the Laikipia Dorper & White Dorper Sheep Stud that was established
on the Monaro in Southern NSW in 2005 by the Keighley family.  Since 2015 the Woburn Australian White flock has been developed, the Dorper flock has been ceased and the White Dorper ewes have been used to develop the base of Australian White commercial flock.

Charles & Hilary Keighley moved from Kenya to the Monaro in 1990 where they recognised the suitability of the area for Dorpers and were proud to be the first White Dorper stud in the area.   From 2006 the Dorper and White Dorper studs were in operation and phased out in 2020. In 2015 the Australian Whites were introduced to Woburn and the stud registered as Woburn Whites.  The introduction of the recently established breed was with the aim of better utilising high production pastures while also adding an element of hybrid vigour into the commercial flock.
