Aims:

The aim of Laikipia is to run 300 purebred White Dorper Ewes and 300 Dorper Ewes under rangeland conditions. The ewe lambs are joined at 8 months. Laikipia is predominantly a commercial operation and rams are selected on shedding characteristics, eye muscle depth(EMD) minimum of 42 mm, above average weight for age and overall soundness and conformation.

The Monaro is renowned for its breeding stock that have the ability to thrive under all conditions around Australia including Tasmania – Laikipia stock are proving to live up to this reputation.
